At Marshall Family Homestead, we're proud to grow a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables. Being self-sufficient, in many ways not only helps us save money, but also teaches our children how to live happier and healthier lifestyles.  We use sustainable farming practices to ensure that our crops are healthy and free from harmful chemicals. Our farmstead is also home to a variety of chickens, which are raised in spacious and clean environments, producing eggs for our table, along side fresh honey from our honey bees.

The Marshall Family Homestead is owned and ran by Robert and Winny Marshall, they have one beautiful little son called Richard, two cats (Angel and Verne), several chickens and a fresh water tropical fish tank where they breed guppies.

Robert's background and training is in Design and Technology, Teaching 18th and 19th Century Living History (Re-enactment), Blacksmithing (check out TMD: Forge page for more information), Carpentry, Performing Arts including working in the film industry and Counselling. His hobbies include 3D Designing and Printing, Making things from the things the Farmstead grows (i.e. linen material from the linen thread, which comes from the flax they grow from flax seed), Spending time with Family. Is a huge movie buff and loves most things Science Fiction, and has an interest in the Sciences.

Winny is originally from Uganda where she studied Communications. She worked on her family farm where her family owns several acres of land and grows a verity of fruits and vegetables, which they sell to suppliers for market. Winny's knowledge of what to grow and when has come in very useful and makes sure we have a bountiful harvest each and every year. Winny has a variety of interests from watching a great movie, to singing at her local church. She has set up a natural soap, shampoo and conditioner making business where she uses the farmsteads grown herbs, spices and honey. Check out "The Fluffy Cows" Section of the website for more information.

At Marshall Family Homestead, we believe in supporting our local community. We work closely with other producers to promote local agriculture and sustainable farming practices. We want to teach people about the importance of farming and where their food comes from. We also donate a portion of our profits to local charities and organizations that support our community.

We also provide space on our website for select businesses and charities which follow our own ethical principles. We want to make sure every home has enough food, supports and nurtures families to enjoy their communities and hopefully build their own little bit of heaven.

Our future is our children, so lets teach them good morals, a right way to each and exercise.
